I totally didn’t like the place. The smallest cappuccino (4.70 euro) tasted much worse than the one from AH (1 euro). The barista couldn’t be described as a very friendly one. And the place is not stroller-friendly. I would not return for the second time

We went there on a recommendation of a dutch friend and it was reallh worth it. We had Latte, apple juice and red velvet cookie (which was also gelatin free) and our total bill was 11.5€

Very lovely cafe, super cozy inside, nice coffee, and really great service. Buttt please put a price tag for your coffee beans. I unintentionally payed 55 euros for a kilo of filter beans. Have never paid so much for beans, especially good but pretty average quality ones. Wouldn’t have paid, but beans were already being grinded. Otherwise, genuinely lovely cafe with cute terrace!!!

Staff ignore you and are more interested in chatting to eachother. Wakuli is just around the corner and is far more professional

It is disrespectful that, even when you are in the area specifically designated for using a computer, there are few people around and plenty of empty tables, and you are making regular orders, you get dirty looks and the music is turned up to an intolerably high volume, making it impossible to even speak to the person next to you, just to make you leave. Disappointing

One of the best places we’ve visited so far in Amsterdam. The croissants are absolutely amazing😍👌🏽. The banana bread is also delicious, and the coffee was great. Beautiful spot in a great location. Loved it!

Caffènation aan de Warmondstraat is een heerlijke koffiezaak waar je merkt dat koffie serieus wordt genomen. De bonen worden zelf gebrand en dat proef je: de espresso is krachtig en vol van smaak, en ook de cappuccino en flat white zijn van hoog niveau, met mooi getrokken latte art. Wie graag experimenteert, kan er ook terecht voor filterkoffie van wisselende single origins, en de baristas vertellen er met plezier over.
Ook het eten is de moeite waard. De kaart is niet enorm, maar wat er staat is vers en goed bereid: lekkere broodjes, banana bread en taarten die duidelijk met aandacht gemaakt zijn. Perfect voor een ontbijtje of lunch in de buurt.
De zaak zelf heeft een fijne, ontspannen sfeer. Het interieur is gezellig zonder overdreven hip te zijn, en het is er een komen en gaan van buurtbewoners, studenten en koffieliefhebbers. In het weekend kan het druk zijn en moet je soms even wachten op een tafeltje, en de bediening is dan af en toe wat gehaast, maar altijd vriendelijk.
Prijzen zijn redelijk voor de kwaliteit die je krijgt, zeker voor Amsterdam. Voor wie in Amsterdam-West woont of er in de buurt is: zeker een aanrader voor een goede kop koffie. Vier dikke sterren!Vertaling
Caffènation on Warmondstraat is a delightful coffee shop where you can tell that coffee is taken seriously. The beans are roasted in-house, and you can taste it: the espresso is powerful and full of flavor, and the cappuccino and flat white are also of a high standard, featuring beautifully drawn latte art. Those who like to experiment can also come here for filter coffee from rotating single origins, and the baristas are happy to tell you all about it. The food is also worth a visit. The menu isn't huge, but what is on offer is fresh and well-prepared: tasty sandwiches, banana bread, and cakes that are clearly made with care. Perfect for breakfast or lunch in the neighborhood. The shop itself has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The interior is cozy without being overly trendy, and there is a constant flow of locals, students, and coffee lovers. On weekends it can be busy and you may sometimes have to wait a bit for a table; the service is occasionally a little rushed then, but always friendly. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get, especially for Amsterdam. For anyone living in or in the neighborhood in Amsterdam: definitely recommended for a good cup of coffee. Four big stars!
